This series, based on a work done by a friend, was completed in Ireland the summer of 2001. Tops presents stock market graphs, an ad for a Van Morrison concert and is decorated with the child's toy, tops. Each of the elements represents, in its own way, something that is the tops. Flight Path incorporates antique crinkly paper to add to the textured feeling. 80/20 is also an abstract study. The numbers refer to a formula used in spiritual study, referring to the division of one's attention between the inner and outer world, with 80% of one's attention focused on inner experience and 20% on the external world.
