This composite work captures the ubiquity of the maternal transference. The experience of "Mother" is one of the deepest psychic structures in the human experience. We experience this Mother dimension in virtually every aspect of life. We look for it, under every rock, in every relationship, in every structure, in every configuration, in every joy and every storm. We look not only for the feeling, taste, whiff, sense of the mother we had, but also and even ESPECIALLY for the Mother we never had. If "mother" is not there, we feel empty and alone; we are forced to create her, complete with satisfactions and conflicts as well, with love and hatred, we look for her everywhere.
