Dual Unity

The dual unity is a psychospiritual concept that describes the state of merger when two people are intensely close and connected. This happens in normal development when a baby is very little. In due course, the baby grows out of the need for this merger, for when it goes on too long, a merged state becomes one-sided and often unhealthy. Throughout life, we tend to crave, and fear, that state of amazing closeness. This collage depicts the delicious tantalizing and potentially deadly merged state.
